getting the first job in freelancing
it's basicly and nearly impossible.
coming forward
you can list your 30 different skills and technologies you work with including backend, frontend, and devops (even mobile development). that's simply nothing bro. you will never get your first client for at least 3 months - 3 months pretty good tho.
"i want someone experienced"
people are looking for experienced freelancers to make them develop their single page portfolio bullshit website. anyone can just vibe code it. just give this job to a cs major freshman kid at college. in this way, they can have some courage. i can ensure you that you do not need a fkn senior engineer with 10 years of experience to make them develop your shitty biography web page.
who are you looking for?? zuckerberg?????
i see 50+ proposals for jobs that has 2 weeks of work, no more. who are you looking for bro? who do you need? it's just simple software work. someone unemployed and locked in can do it in 2 days with the help of ai. just accept it.
you have to pay to get paid
okay i feel upwork. they need to make money somehow. but but but i am been charged 13 whole connects(credits for proposals) to make a proposal to a job that will not accept it - they will not like my mustache or my name or something else i don't know why they never accept my proposals.
conclusion
anyways. fuck the clients. i hate you guys. i am just trying to earn some money to live.
